My Journey into tech

It has been a long time coming but I need to document my studies in computers more thoroughly to actively document to prove to myself I am progressing and moving towards something to fruition. During the pandemic I studied cyber security online through city college of san francisco. It seemed like a proactive thing to do during the moment of harboring doom. I studied about malware, exploit development, and I guess smart phone technology. There was a little reverse engineering of programs in the mobile hacking course which goes the same for the malware course where you would dissassemble a program in Ghidra or IDA and pick through the bones of code. Exploit development was cool because you got to implement rudimentary buffer overflows though the class never taught about circumventing the methods to avoid the basic buffer overflow such as ASLR canaries and DEP. I learned a lot but I have forgotten a lot too. I would obsessively memorize the text to pass the many tests but I do not think I understood everything. I am by no means an intelligent man this writing is proof of this so I do not have perfect recall or understanding of what I studied. It was a lot of courses. I plan to take more courses in the next four years and will hopefully document it. The next two semesters will be devoted to Python3 and studying the in's and out's. The education is free and I even get paid to go to school basically so I will continue on with the studies for as long as I can.
